Pope Leo XIV spent nearly the entire cruise from Lourdes to Metz in the cockpit of Air France’s A321 — about 30 minutes. Copilot Érik Margueritte says the aviation-minded pope asked numerous questions about the aircraft and its systems. When two French Rafales flew alongside, the crew handed Leo the radio. He spoke directly to the fighter pilots, blessing them and military personnel working to protect people and promote peace worldwide.

Well staged: Macron attends Papal Eucharist. Having alledgely planned to attend none of Pope Leo XIV's liturgies, President Macron has suddenly “rearranged his diary” to attend the Papal Eucharist in Metz. The cathedral is located in the department of Moselle, which is not governed by France’s 1905 laicist law. It was part of Germany when the law was adopted, and it still operates under the Alsace-Moselle concordat system. Macron is now contributing to the wave of enthusiasm generated for Leo XIV. Some journalists framed Macron’s initially announced absence from Leo XIV’s papal liturgies as a deliberate snub. They linked it to reports that the Vatican had declined opportunities for additional private time between Macron and the Pope.

There is a quote I've always liked from the old movie City Hall - "once you have crossed the line, you can't see it anymore." I not only observed this phenomena in people I worked with at a local City Hall, but I also saw a lot of it when I was part of an FSSP parish. It's the old lie of the Devil to get a person to make compromises which seem insignificant, but lead to much greater sin. I think Taylor Marshall attends an FSSP Mass, but I could have him mixed up with some other "traditional" Catholic YouTubers.
