A small Catholic shrine dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and Fray Leopoldo in Ceuta was vandalized. A local woman who discovered the destruction said the site had long been used by worshippers to leave religious images and devotional objects. The perpetrators have not been identified.

I actually wasn’t sure where to start or how to approach this essay. My notes and list of problematic quotes taken from the document alone ran to almost 16 pages.
In what could only be called an astonishing feat, the Vatican’s note A Journey of Hope, subtitled Sixty Years of Interreligious Dialogue and Fraternity in the Light of the Conciliar Declaration Nostra Aetate, manages, in almost every single one of its 60 paragraphs, to disqualify itself from being the work of the Catholic Church.
Sixty years after this reprehensibly heretical document was foisted upon Christendom, the Vatican has now, unwittingly, provided us with an unusually candid description of exactly why Nostra Aetate, and the beast that spawned it, is not Catholic in any way, shape, or form.
Next time some Novus Ordite clown wants to tell you that there is no break with the preconciliar Magisterium, hand them this essay.

But then again, what problems could Pius XII’s successor possibly have had, since he held absolute power? This obviously seems anachronistic.
Indeed, having accepted the position, he could, with a single gesture or word, have put an end to any dissent or rebellion among certain cardinals and appeared on the balcony on October 26, 1958, to give his first urbi et orbi blessing. Why did he not do so, since two things are absolutely certain?
1) The white smoke and the announcement by Vatican Radio cannot be disputed by anyone: those who do so are acting in bad faith.
2) Despite this, the new Pope did not appear on the balcony, a fact that is not disputed by anyone.
Why is the second point not disputed, while the first is, since in reality they contradict each other?

Bishop Strickland rejects yesterday's Vatican document marking 60 years of Nostra Aetate.
Bishop Emeritus Joseph Strickland from Tyler, Texas, wrote on X.com on September 16 that the new Vatican document - approved by Leo XIV - “must be rejected and repudiated by all who hold Jesus Christ and His Church as the only way to the Father.”
He refers to §54 on ‘The Path of Hope’: “The defensive entrenchment in one’s own position and the view that proselytism is the only way to engage with the other no longer make sense in a world that increasingly resembles an interconnected and constantly evolving global village.”
Strickland counters: “Truth is not constantly evolving, Truth is Jesus Christ present with us in the world and His Church is the vehicle for our salvation.”
