A partial indulgence is granted to those who recite An Act of Reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. A plenary indulgence is granted if it is publicly recited on the feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. This prayer was prescribed to be recited on this feast by Pope Pius XI. Most sweet Jesus, whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so much forgetfulness, negligence and contempt, behold us prostrate before Thee, eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel indifference and injuries to which Thy loving Heart is everywhere subject. Mindful, alas! that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities, which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask Thy pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation, not only for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those, who, straying far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow Thee, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the promises …More

youtube.com/watch?v=Dii0w70F9TU God uses sufferings for our good. It is difficult for us to see this truth, for of course we desire no setbacks in our earthly life. We must remember, however, that the ways of God our not our ways. The ultimate end of our lives is our sanctification. The crosses we bear are integral to this sanctification. Throughout history, mankind has tried to reconcile belief in a loving God with the reality of evil. Instead of looking at this matter in a purely earthly view, we must embrace a supernatural perspective. In my last post I looked at Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira’s concept of the Revolution as outlined in Revolution and Counter-Revolution, which is a defining text of the Tradition, Family and Property movement. In this post I will examine the complementary concept of the Counter-Revolution and provide examples of some of its implications. Much of what makes TFP so controversial, and almost a religion unto itself, are the practices attached to the concept of the Counter-Revolution. These practices are often focused on the imitation of its historical models: “Dr. Plinio” and his mother, Dona (“Lady”) Lucilia. Corrêa de Oliveira’s Counter-Revolution is, very simply, an elitist reaction to the Revolution. It is just as totalizing in its scope and demands as the Revolution, and thus allows for little compromise or nuance. He writes, “if the Revolution is killing us, nothing is more indispensable than a reaction that aims to crush it. To be adverse in principle to a counter-revolutionary …

Essay by Phil Lawler arguing that the fact that the Secretariat of State is the most powerful office of the Vatican thwarts efforts for reform. Because of its focus on relations with the world’s governments, tends to give primary attention to worldly rather than the pastoral concerns - as seen in the "ostpolitik" approach to relations with China, Muslim regimes, South American Marxist states, etc.
By Phil Lawler ( bio - articles - email ) | Jun 11, 2026 For 30 years or more, in nearly everything I have written, I have sought to drive home a few key themes: The Catholic Church is in the midst of a serious crisis; That crisis is not merely a matter of sexual abuse, or declining Mass attendance, or doctrinal dissent, or financial collapse, or corrupt leadership, or marital breakdown. These are all symptoms of a deeper problem: a crisis of faith. A crisis of faith cannot be resolved by professional programs or administrative procedures. It will require a spiritual renewal at the level of dioceses, parishes, even households. So why am I writing today to recommend an administrative change at the Vatican? Because any administrative system rewards certain attitudes, certain instincts, certain modes of understanding situations, certain likely responses. And the current administrative structure of the Roman Curia favors a way of thought that gives priority to worldly rather than spiritual …
Conservatives have also been fooled by the appearance of a Western coup in Ukraine in 2014 that overthrew a “duly elected” president, Viktor Yanukovich, an open Communist. This notion disturbed conservatives and contributed to the propaganda that Russia was provoked into attacking Ukraine, and has led to conservatives ignorantly supporting Russia in the Ukraine war. But it wasn’t really a western coup even though the US Endowment for Democracy did give many millions to fund the protest in the Maidan square in Kiev. Just as the “fall of Communism” was a grand deception, so was the Orange Revolution in Ukraine. The proof is found in the fact that the protest went on for months, bottled up in the Maidan square, and surrounded by the Berkut (Ukrainian riot police). But on the Friday morning when the protestors supposedly won, the Berkut had secretly been given a stand down order, and didn’t show up, allowing the protestors to finally leave the square. Even the presidential palace was left …More
I will also leave another short video which each video shown has a longer version to each of them. A young inventor gets the chance of a lifetime. During a technology exhibition, a young boy proudly showed Vladimir Putin a robot he had designed and built himself. With excitement in his voice, he demonstrated the robot's abilities and explained how it worked. Putin listened carefully, asked questions, and encouraged the young creator to keep learning and innovating. For the boy, it wasn't just a presentation — it was a chance to share his dream with the President of Russia. Moments like these remind us that every great invention starts with curiosity. I don't know nor understand how he is all over Russia. Checking all sorts of things in all area's. Being with so many children. Whether in orphanages, schools, universities, infrastructure and everything in between. And still keep the great country of Russia prospering. I enjoy how he spends a lot of time with the children teaching …More
T.F.P. meets with problems by Miguel Martinez TFP ("Tradition Family and Property") considers itself to be engaged in a mortal conflict with the Left. It consequently tends to depict any trouble it may get into, simply as the violent reaction of the "Revolution" against its heroic opponents, a notion which Introvigne has translated into the fiction of the "anti-cult movement". Actually, opposition to T.F.P. has come mostly from parents of T.F.P. members, themselves usually Catholic traditionalists, and from conservative and traditionalist Catholic quarters. There are several reasons for this. In the first place, outside of Latin America, TFP generally keeps a low profile or operates through front organizations which the left usually does not understand. Skinhead-scalpers will turn elsewhere when they find a group like TFP whose writings are difficult to read, which is generally unobtrusive, and was founded by a man who sympathized for the British conservatives during the War (so much …
12. In preparation for the fall the Soviets put the Russian speaking regions of Donbass and Crimea within the boundaries of Ukraine, so they could have an excuse to re-invade when these Russia people felt threatened. The Soviets also forced hundreds of thousands of Russians to immigrate to the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania for the same reason. They are still there and we will see them used as an excuse to invade someday too. Joel Skousen World Affairs Brief

Bulldozers & ceasefires: How Israel is carving out its ‘Greater Israel’ land grab Satellite imagery and on-the-ground accounts reveal a pattern of Israel’s increased military entrenchment in pursuit of its voracious long-held territorial ambitions, reports Middle East Eye. Defying the illusion of temporary occupation, from Lebanon’s southern hills to Syria’s strategic heights, Israel is methodically reshaping a permanent foothold. Lebanon: architecture of permanence Israel’s October 2024 invasion of Lebanon, framed as a response to Hezbollah’s solidarity with Gaza, quickly morphed into something more enduring. satellite data shows rapid fortification at five key hilltop positions along the 79km border between January and November 2025, roads were widened, earth berms elevated, new watchtowers constructed, and accommodation capacity increased substantially Bases at Labbouneh and Tal Dowary offer commanding views over villages now emptied, leveraging former UNIFIL …More
