Logo for Leo XIV's France Visit: Today, the French Bishops' Conference has unveiled the logo and visual identity for Leo XIV's apostolic visit to France, scheduled for September 25–28. The visit will take place under the motto, "That the world may have life." Designed by Ghislain d'Orlandes, the logo features a dove, an olive branch, the Cross, and a Gothic arch. The visual identity will be used throughout the visit in Paris, Lourdes, and Metz.

French Church Vandalised, Nothing Stolen: On 5 July, Saint-Étienne Church in Mulhouse, eastern France, was vandalised. A man entered the church, went straight to the sanctuary, removed the cross from the altar and threw it to the floor. He then knocked over a vase and used the cross to force open the doors of three confessionals, some dating back to the early 19th century. Nothing was stolen; the damage was confined to religious furnishings and symbols.
