Providing them with a space for prayer is, in his view, a gesture of respect and inclusion. He also stated that Christians and Muslims pray to the same God. The non-partisan think tank Cardus published in March 24, 2026 an Education Survey titled, "Enduring Faith: Patterns of Religious Practice and Values Among Religious School Graduates." It shows a correlation between what schools do when it comes to religious instruction and whether the students maintaining their faith once they graduate.
