Argentine bishop, a Synod Father, punished after canonical judicial process over allegations of abuse. Auxiliary Bishop Ricardo Seirutti, 70, of Córdoba, Argentina, has been punished by the Church following a canonical judicial process concerning complaints from two adults over conduct officially described as “improper to his episcopal ministry.” Monsignor Seirutti also served as vicar general of the Archdiocese of Córdoba. Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop in 2015. In 2018, he participated as a voting Synod Father in the Synod of Bishops on Young People. He represented the Argentine episcopate. According to the Archdiocese of Córdoba, complaints from two adults led the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith to order a canonical judicial process before the Interdiocesan Tribunal of Buenos Aires. The proceedings concluded in recent weeks with sanctions against Bishop Seirutti. He has been deprived of his offices as auxiliary bishop and vicar general. For five years, he is …තව

Humanly speaking, Bishop Schneider doesn't see Leo XIV reversing Francis' course. The celebration of the Pontifical Mass at the end of October in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore - instead of St. Peter’s Basilica - can be described as a “consolation prize,” Bishop Athanasius Schneider told Gloria.tv (video below). It is “sad,” he said, that these Catholics are not allowed to celebrate Mass in St. Peter’s. At the same time, Santa Maria Maggiore is the most important Marian church in Christendom. Both Pius V - who codified the traditional Mass for all time - and Francis - who restricted it - are buried there. Bishop Schneider intends to pray with the faithful for liturgical peace and for the traditional Mass to be celebrated again without restrictions. Asked whether Leo XIV might reverse Francis’ course, Schneider replied: “Humanly speaking, I don’t think so. But there is still God.” The pilgrimage will pray for Leo XIV, asking God to grant him many graces. Schneider calls the suppression …තව
Bishop Corrado Sanguineti of Pavia is the frontrunner to become the next Archpriest of St Peter’s Basilica - succeeding Cardinal Mauro Gambetti. Writing for IlGiornale.it, Nico Spuntoni says Bishop Sanguineti is now in “pole position” for the post following Gambetti’s departure. Other names floated in recent weeks include former papal master of ceremonies Archbishop Guido Marini, Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and Cardinal Rolandas Makrickas, Archpriest of the Basilica of St Mary Major. Leo XIV knew Sanguineti before his election to the papacy through Pavia, home to the tomb of St Augustine. The two celebrated a Eucharist together there in February 2024. Sanguineti was also received by Leo XIV in a private audience at the Vatican in early September.

Confirmed: Pope Leo XIV has appointed Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, 60, as Metropolitan Archbishop of Chieti-Vasto. The move brings Gambetti’s tenure as Archpriest of St Peter’s Basilica, Vicar General for Vatican City and President of the Fabric of St Peter to an end. His successor at the Vatican has not yet been announced. Cardinal Gambetti's years in the Vatican were marked by repeated controversies, many of which were brought to public attention primarily by SilereNonPossum.com. The investigation was based on documents, photographs, videos and testimony. Among other issues, SilereNonPossum reported favouritism in personnel appointments - including the hiring of people personally connected to Gambetti. Other scandals included controversial expenditure, costly events and projects, and concerns over the maintenance and management of the Basilica. Cardinal Gambetti succeeds Archbishop Bruno Forte, whose resignation Pope Leo XIV has accepted. The transfer comes after months of rumours that …තව

03.10.2026 ITALIAN MINISTRY OF INTERIOR INTERPRETS VATICAN COUNCIL II UNETHICALLY : GENERAL POLICY OF THE ITALIAN GOVERNMENT I cannot be admitted in a pontifical university in Rome or have my Residence Permit. Propaganda Fide has stopped my study-stipend because of Vatican Council II rational. The Italian Ministry of Interior, the Quirinale and the Vatican, still interpret Vatican Council II irrationally and not rationally. This is unethical. Since I interpret the Creeds, Councils and Catechisms rationally and not irrationally i.e not confusing what is implicit as being explicit, I am not allowed to enroll in a pontifical university in Rome and complete my studies in philosophy for a baccalaureate. Neither am I allowed to join a religious community. The European Union and the Vatican interpret LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, Gs 22 etc in Vatican Council II dishonestly. I don’t. ‘APPENDICES…’ ~ ‘Treatise on Purgatory’ by Saint Catherine of Genoa; 1915; pp. 54-56; part I [Saint Catherine of Genoa ~ XV-XVI Century; born: Genoa, Republic of Genoa/ died: Genoa, Republic of Genoa; (aged 62-63); Mystic; Spiritual Writer] Appendix A THE Saint must here be understood to mean that the souls in purgatory cannot recollect the specific reasons of the pains they suffer ; that they cannot say, " I have done such and such sins, for which I deserve to be here." She cannot mean absolutely that they do not know that the pains they suffer are in punishment for their sins. For besides such ignorance being scarcely conceivable, it is contrary to her own express statement in chapter vii., where she says, that " that which causes the souls in purgatory most pain, is the seeing in themselves a thing displeasing to God ; and the being conscious that it has been admitted against so much goodness." Appendix B THERE is a difference of opinion among theologians as to the nature of that …තව
"THERE is a difference of opinion among theologians as to the nature of that purification which the souls undergo in purgatory. From what are they purified ? from the guilt of sin, or simply from imperfections? If from imperfections, in what sense do they become perfect? In that they are intrinsically improved ; or is it merely that they have bettered their condition before God?"
