Vittorio Messori Has Died

Catholic Italian author Vittorio Messori, 84, died on Good Friday in Desenzano, Italy.

One of his most influential works was The Ratzinger Report, which was based on an interview with Joseph Ratzinger conducted in 1984. The book evaluated the Church's condition following the Second Vatican Council.

Messori also collaborated with Pope John Paul II on the book Crossing the Threshold of Hope. In it, the Pope wrote that Jesus Christ is the unique Saviour of humanity and that Christianity contains the fullness of revealed truth.

Throughout his career, Messori was renowned for his loyalty to the Church, coupled with his intellectual independence.

Fullness vs the truth no salvation outside the Church (un willful ignorance today is hard to come by.) BVI and JPII turned there backs on the oath against modernism which they took and wared against anybody who kept it ie (sspx and the like) the Oath The Oath Against Modernism - Papal Encyclicals

Dr. Bobus

You seem willfully ignorant about the nature of non willful ignorance.

🙏🙏🙏Grant him, O Lord, eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.🙏🙏🙏
"Vittorio Messori—the most influential commentator on Vatican affairs—published an article in which he explained: 'That is to say, it has been revealed that Pope Benedict XVI had no intention of renouncing the *Petrinus munus*—neither the office nor the duties—which Christ Himself entrusted to the Head of the Apostles and which has been handed down to his successors.'"
This means that, by *not* renouncing, there was no apostolic succession; consequently, both Bergoglio and Prevost are false popes. That is why Bergoglio did not wear the Ring of the Fisherman—nor, much less, does the successor to that apostate of unhappy memory, Jorge Bergoglio.
(Pope Benedict XVI) “He left the papal throne but did not abandon his ministry,” explained Gänswein—something “almost impossible following his irrevocable acceptance of the office in April 2005.”

I love to note a death of a faithful soul in sync with the Calendar.
